Smores In A Cone

This weekend my family and I decided to have a relaxing weekend of just watching movies and gorging on junk food. Okay so my husband and I decided that since our kids are 3 and almost 2, but they seemed very appreciative of our decision. I bought all of the usual stuff, popcorn, candy and chips, but I got to thinking that I wanted something a little different. So I went to my good friend Pinterest and looked up some ideas for more creative junk food. This little gem popped up and I couldn’t have been happier with it. After I made them my husband even decided to tell me that the best day of his life was the day that he married me. I swear men are ridiculously easy please sometimes, just give them some sugar and they’re good to go. So I figured that I would let you all know about this cute, easy and yummy dessert idea.

Honestly this was the easiest thing in the world to make. If it wasn’t for the oven I could’ve probably had my 3 year old do it all. All you need is mini marshmallows, chocolate chips and ice cream cones. I chose waffle cones just because they’re bigger and I think that they taste better…but it’s up to you. Just stuff the cones with the mini marshmallows and chocolate chips (it comes out more even if you combine both in a big bowl first), wrap them up in tin foil. Place them on a cookie sheet and bake in the oven at 350° for 8 minutes. Let them cool for 5 minutes so that they aren’t too hot and you’re all set! Easiest dessert in the world and the kids loved them…especially the big one…aka dad.

      Thanks! He really loved it!

  2. I’m totally going to make these with my kids! What a fun way to bring what’s usually a summertime treat (for us) into the winter – and into the house, without making the same mess as traditional s’mores.

They are so easy to make and there is virtually no clean up…well other than cleaning up your kids lol
